I had a rare copy of an LP from his first band, the Nazz, pressed on red vinyl. Todd marveled that he hadn't seen one in 30 years, but promptly pointed out a scratch. I was greatly embarassed. |

Todd took a couple of copies
of my books to read on the bus. And despite the damage to the record,
he signed the label anyway.
